Tears of a Rainbow - Prose
This poem is born of the concept that there is balance in everything. It takes a combination of both a storm and sunshine to create a rainbow. It is the same in our lives.
How often have you heard that from every misfortune arises opportunity? This is one of those statements we tend to throw away when we need it the most.
So many times we hear a line that makes great sense when we're doing okay, a powerful statement to help us through times of difficulty, and smile about them and move on. Then when times get tough we disregard them as inapplicable cliche's. These words are not for our amusement at times of lightness. They are powerful tools to help us when times are difficult.
Words are worthless unless listened to and acted upon. The next time things are difficult, no matter how difficult, take a moment and consider what good could come out of the situation. Then take this information and act on it. The information you will have just derived is your roadmap out of unhappiness if you let it be. If you indeed do act on it.
