Introduction

 My name is Steve Cichosz. I am the creator of this site. I believe in Erikson's stages of development describing 8 phases of life. I am entering the stage diplomatically labelled as "Maturity." I would place each phase into the two overlapping umbrella categories of "Learn" and "Contribute." As with previous phases, I see this latest and final stage of my life as falling under the "Contribute" umbrella, but in this phase my contributions are to be more ethereal than tangible. I have had a vast range of experiences over my life and now I see my role in satisfying my societal responsibility to contribute as sharing the lessons and insights I have gleaned over my years. An odd thing I have noticed looking back is the more I have come to terms with having lost in the past phases, the more I have to give in this emerging part of my life. I give of my experience learnings as an instrument to aid in my own understanding of my experiences, much like journaling, and for the benefit of all those coming behind me. This web site is the medium by which I make this offering to any who might find the content of use.I simultaneously believe we are on our own and that we are all in this together. I believe that we all create our own worlds that we call our lives. We are all in the together because every single thing we do does, or at least has the potential to affect someone else. We create our own world because this existence functions on cause and effect. That means that for every action we take there is an effect that shapes the world in which we live. In all times the tools, devices and specific events of lives change. There are also certain truths that persist and remain constants through the changing circumstances that span the generations of human existence.It is my hope that the words I put forth from decades of experience in my world may in some way be applied to make your world a bit richer, or perhaps maybe help it make even a little more sense as you yourself make way to, and through your own age of Maturity.
